Delirium - Lauren Oliver My thoughts I was very intrigued when I found out what this book was about. What if love were illegal and there was a cure that everyone was required to get? My first thought was that it sounded kind of sad. It sounded like such a unique story that I knew I had to read it and boy was I glad that I picked it up.I found myself glued to every page. Delirium is a wonderfully written Dystopian novel. I really didn't find myself attached to the characters in the beginning. But that slowly built up as the story went along and as I found out more about each and every one of them. There were some parts that were a bit slow but nothing that made me put the book down. You will not be able to put this book down. Just a warning the story really picks up towards the end. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I needed to know what was going to happen. The end left my heart beating fast and tears springing to my eyes. The world that Lauren Oliver has created in this story felt so real. She definitely has a way with words. I really felt that this story was so much more that just a love story. It really showed me how important love is and what things might be like without it. How important it is not only to romantic relationships but also to relationships with family and friends.I cannot wait to read the next in the series. If you have not picked up this book yet I highly recommend that you do so ASAP! You will not regret it! Happy reading.QuotesHearts are fragile things. That's why you have to be so careful.I love you. Remember. They cannot take it.He leans another inch closer, and it's like the flames seep out of his eyes and light my whole body on fire. I've never been this close to a boy before. I feel like fainting and running all at the same time. But I can't move.Love, The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't
